The session explores how federal and state courts share jurisdiction, interpret constitutions, and resolve disputes to preserve constitutional order and minority rights.

Through comparative analysis of the United States of America, Germany, and India, the training examines models of judicial structure, appointment systems, constitutional review, and institutional safeguards.

Special attention is given to Myanmar’s potential judicial structure in a future federal system highlighting the need for clear jurisdiction, independent judicial appointments, minority protection, and constitutional dispute resolution mechanisms to prevent power imbalance.
