Strategic Engagement for Rights-Based Reform
IPSJ engages in strategic advocacy to advance democracy, human rights, and justice in Myanmar while amplifying the voices of communities most affected by conflict, repression, and exclusion. Through research-informed advocacy, strategic communications, media engagement, and documentation of human rights violations, IPSJ connects grassroots realities to national, regional, and international policy arenas.
At national and sub-national levels, IPSJ advocates for inclusive and rights-based reforms related to federal governance, constitutional development, land and environmental rights, and institutional accountability. Working in coalition with civil society networks and engaging emerging governance actors, IPSJ promotes policy solutions grounded in evidence, dialogue, and non-violence—ensuring that Myanmar’s transition is shaped by the voices, rights, and aspirations of its people.
